TomTom ONE XL screen goes wide

TomTom has equipped the ONE XL GPS navigation system with a 4.3" widescreen touchscreen display in order to challenge other offerings from its market rivals. Features of the ONE XL includes having access to real-time traffic information via RDS-TMC and safety camera alerts. For those of you who have not experienced the wonders of a widescreen display, its like the difference between black & white TV and color TV. Once you've tasted the goodness of color TV, you never want to go back to monochrome - same goes for a widescreen GPS navigation system. The TomTom ONE XL will retail for £249 and £299 in the U.K. and Western Europe respectively.
