Bullet time camera for military

The military seem to have gotten their mitts around a camera which can see in bullet time. This high-speed camera from Nova Sensors is capable of following bullets in midflight, thanks to its mimicry ability that was inspired by the humble human eye. Dubbed VAST (Variable Acuity Superpixel Technology), this new camera will be used in developing a new "active armor" - kevlar shields that are smart enough to detect incoming bullets and inflate automatically to protect a soldier's life. I guess short of being Neo, that is the next best option. If only my gramps had one of these vests back then in June 1944.
